In 2001, Chalio Rivera, an old Huichol friend invited me to the Fiesta de San Andrés to produce a document about this celebration. It was an honor and I accepted, doing a little book first in 2003, and then with the help of my friends Joseph Mandel and Alfonzo Gomez-Arzapalo, a video documentary in 2007.
