I like to carry my camera everywhere I go, documenting and finding inspiration in the most unexpected places. I have been drawing most of my life and photographing since I was an early teenager. I spent my early childhood with a Huichol indigenous community in the Mexican Sierras and my school years in the vibrant city of Guadalajara, Mexico. The first camera I owned was a hand-me-down from my father, and I have been hooked ever since. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology with a visual focus from San Francisco State University. At around that time I started making video documentaries that took me from Indonesia to Mexico. I have taken root in Novato, discovering all that beautiful Marin County and Northern California have to offer and inspire.
